Value of Services
ACTS is blessed to have the continued support of our many volunteers who donate their time and talents, and residents and businesses who donate goods that we distribute to the needy of Aiken County. To demonstrate a monetary value on donated time and goods we used a fair market value approach to reflect the value of volunteer hours, food, clothing, furniture, and housewares. The value of volunteer hours is published by United Way of America. The fair market value of donated items is published by the 2008 Salvation Army's valuation guide.
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me... To the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of mine, even the least of them, you did it to me.
